 National Vocational Qualifications

" We are a new business and I found studying for the NVQ in Team Leading enabled me to develop and implement new processes and procedures to benefit the business.  My assessor was very supportive and guided me through the course "

Mel Stratton, Assist 247 Ltd

National Vocational Qualifications are a great way to gain a work-related qualification. The qualification is achieved through evidence, observations, interviews and assessments, typically in the workplace. There are no written exams or tests and delegates complete the programme to fit in with their work and personal commitments.  Businesses may benefit from funding towards the qualification, which makes it an affordable way to upskill the workforce.

How does it take?

It depends on the individual, but generally an NVQ Level 2 will take up to six months to complete and a Level 3 award typically take up to 9 months.
