Advice & Guidance

 

This NVQ is appropriate to practitioners who work directly

with clients, as well as individuals who provide a support

function to practitioners. It is designed for organisations

including; volunteer groups, housing associations, support

networks, employment services, careers guidance and

student services.

 

Objectives

To achieve a full Level 2 qualification, candidates must

complete six units: 

 

Three mandatory units

  * Support clients to make use of the advice and guidance service

  * Interact with clients using a range of media

  * Develop personal performance through delivering customer service

 

Plus three optional units to be taken from specific themed topics. 

This qualification allows recognition of competence and is available at levels 2, 3 and 4.
